What are the best books/resources on Internet Marketing?

Question by Sam Z: What are the best books/resources on Internet Marketing?
I am after practical guides to A) Link Building – How to do it B) General SEO C) Affiliate Marketing

I have intermediate knowledge of the topic area, but I am after specific ways of HOW TO build links, and improve overall search engine visibility. There is so much BS out there and I don’t know what to trust.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountability and Science of Customer Centricity

    Hi Sam,

    You are right about all the BS out there. It can drive you nuts.

    For Link Building I recommend a program called Market Samurai. This software has great support with video tutorials. The product is constantly upgraded and about the only piece of software I use. It finds you high page ranking websites (backlinks) based on quality researched keywords and tells you how competitive niches/markets are. It does a whole lot more as well

    General SEO – I would focus on just getting backlinks and doing a lot of keyword research. So Market Samurai again. I am sure you would know enough about on-page SEO factors with your current knowledge.

    Affiliate marketing – check out Opportunity.com It basically focuses on building a list and using email marketing to make affiliate sales.

    Those are very common concerns when you are trying to get a business going, all three of them trust me I know. I found a great resource that covers all the things you mentioned and more. In fact this resource is done in video so you can see what steps you need to take rather than just reading about them. You can actually start a business from scratch and start to profit in a very short time or just take the info you need considering you have experience already.
